I've probably mentioned this a few times already and I'll probably say it again: I'll always love to go back to Cebu. When I finally want to settle, I think Cebu is the perfect place for me. We've been down south of Cebu --- Bantayan Island. And now we're off somewhere north to check out the biggest whale sharks --- BUTANDINGS!!!! And yes, they're almost as big as one bus!
From the heart and city of Cebu, we left around 330am and got to Oslob, Cebu around 7am-ish. Butanding watch is just near the shore and for a good 15-30 minutes. The fee for whale watching is around 450/pax and mind you I think its worth it!
Look how far the Butandings are from the shore! More whale shark pictures here:
They're really huuuuuuuge sea creatures but were good enough not to eat me! :) hahaha! Like this one who wanted to make friends just when I decided to go back to our boat.
At least, I made friends with one.

TRAVEL: Amsterdam, Netherlands
One of our European stops going to Cannes is the Schipol Airport, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Amsterdam has got to have the best waffles in town! We had just a day of exploring so here's a sneak peek of Amsterdam:
With this, I must say, I shall return! :)

TRAVEL: Paris, France
Fall in Love. One of the best things that you'll ever learn in life. And yes, the moment that I step foot in Paris, France, I can say that I fell in love! I went there during fall season and its the best weather that I have experienced yet. Beautiful contrast of colors from greens, yellows, oranges to browns. This city is just lovely!!!
We checked-in at Hotel Elysee Union where in Eiffel Tower is just a few meters away. Lovely view!
After brunch of course we went around walking along Champs Elysees which is just a few meters away from the hotel. I love the fact that our hotel is the center of everything.
This is the palace-ish Abercrombie Store at Champs Elysees!
Of course, we won't miss it for the world... Louis Vuitton shop in Pari!!!
So after some shopping, we went on a hop-on, hop-off tour around Paris for 27 Euro, you'll be able to witness the picturesque view of the place... here are random of shots of this awesome awesome city:
And because Eiffel Tower is at its best at night, here, here, take a peek! Its much more beautiful in person. :)
Notre Dame is equally beautiful as well. So can you guess if this picture is an actual photo or a painting?
And should you be interested to check in our hotel, here are the pictures of the lobby (I wasn't able to take a picture of our room since we're out most of the time and we just stayed there for sleeping and bath :P ).
While waiting in the airport for our flight, we had a taste of Parisian Starbucks. Since I thought it would be hard for them to get my name as Chamz or Charmaine, I told them my name is Kate and look, here's my Parisian name:
Fancy, eh? Now, why don't you include Paris in your bucket list? Prepare to be in love! :')

TRAVEL: Cannes, France
Cannes yet again is considered to be one of the most expensive spots in Europe. For me, its a business spot. I was there for a few days for MIPCOM, a yearly entertainment market for content. I am grateful for getting a job with these kinds of perks --- travel! Its just perfect! haha!
Since it's my first time in Europe, I was impressed with the buildings' intricate designs and structures. Its not just in the movies after all!
Here is the famous Notre Dame church in Cannes.
Another perks of the job is that we get to dine in really high end restaurants and hotels. This one is a 5-star hotel in Cannes, with a beautiful view day or night! Too bad, I didn't have my SLR camera with me. But look at the view and the room! (from their website: http://www.hotel-du-cap-eden-roc.com/eng/accommodation-rates/suites/one-bedroom-suite/)
And I'm one proud customer! :)
I was only able to take a picture of the dessert, which has an edible gold on top, so sosy (and yummy) I couldn't resist! :)
One thing that's good about Cannes, France is that the restaurants value food presentation. Check out "normal" dinner we had in a cute little street of restaurant in Cannes. :)
Awesome, eh? But wait, there's more! When you dine in a semi-fast food restaurant they have these selection of ketchup, numbered by the level of sweetness suitable for your taste!
And since I'm in France already, macarons and gelato are must try!
And last but not the least, of course I tried McDonald's too! :)
Now, don't you just love, Cannes? :)
