Cannes yet again is considered to be one of the most expensive spots in Europe. For me, its a business spot. I was there for a few days for MIPCOM, a yearly entertainment market for content. I am grateful for getting a job with these kinds of perks --- travel! Its just perfect! haha!
Since it's my first time in Europe, I was impressed with the buildings' intricate designs and structures. Its not just in the movies after all!
Here is the famous Notre Dame church in Cannes.
Another perks of the job is that we get to dine in really high end restaurants and hotels. This one is a 5-star hotel in Cannes, with a beautiful view day or night! Too bad, I didn't have my SLR camera with me. But look at the view and the room! (from their website: http://www.hotel-du-cap-eden-roc.com/eng/accommodation-rates/suites/one-bedroom-suite/)
And I'm one proud customer! :)
I was only able to take a picture of the dessert, which has an edible gold on top, so sosy (and yummy) I couldn't resist! :)
One thing that's good about Cannes, France is that the restaurants value food presentation. Check out "normal" dinner we had in a cute little street of restaurant in Cannes. :)
Awesome, eh? But wait, there's more! When you dine in a semi-fast food restaurant they have these selection of ketchup, numbered by the level of sweetness suitable for your taste!
And since I'm in France already, macarons and gelato are must try!
And last but not the least, of course I tried McDonald's too! :)
Now, don't you just love, Cannes? :)
