This is a long overdue post. Most people who know me are aware that Middle East is my second home, especially Oman. However, I'm fortunate enough to explore more countries and one of them is Abu Dhabi.
Last December 2012 was practically one of the best holidays that I had. I get to spend it with the people who matters to me the most. It's been quite a while since the family had a get-together, although still incomplete, in my heart, I knew that I'm home. :)
First stop, Abu Dhabi. We stayed at the Millenium Hotel, one of the best hotels in the area. Since my mum worked in different hotels in Oman for the past couple of years and we're staying over for almost a week, we got a good family rate for 2 rooms at 4pax per room.
Here's the view from our room.
... and the room of course.
The lobby looked Christmas-y and cozy.
Unlike other Middle Eastern countries, Abu Dhabi and Dubai are more open since there are quite number of expats who are working and living in the cities. Look at the life size ginger bread house in the hotel lobby, isn't it cute?
Abu Dhabi itself has a lot to offer to its' tourists. One of them is the big Ikea near Ferrari World. It was Leo's first time in the Middle East and his first IKEA trip. I think he did more shopping... look at his bags of goodies.
More bags on the left side....
... and more...
Gross rats.
This and more --- Desert Safari, Exploring Dubai, inside the Yas Marina Circuit, and of course, Ferrari World!
